THE FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRY MET AT FOTEG ISTANBUL 2010

The first only international trade fair in Turkey to house all aspects of the food processing industry under one roof, FOTEG ISTANBUL 2010, was officially opened. The fair will run from 4-7 March in halls one and two of the Istanbul Fair Center.

The fair was opened by the Agricultural Ministry State Secretary Vedat Mirmahmutoğulları and the General Manager of HKF Trade Fairs, Mr. Bekir Çakıcı; highlighting how FOTEG ISTANBUL 2010 once again brings together participants and visitors alike to the most productive of venues.

Proof enough that FOTEG ISTANBUL 2010 is the food processing industry’s most important event with both Turkish and overseas trade professionals grasping the opportunities that this fair offers by developing trade links, opening up new markets and possibilities, while, at the same time, allowing the movers and shakers of the Turkish industry to see what is on offer in the way of new technology and developments.

The fair is Organised by HKF Trade Fairs with 11.384 trade visitors from Turkey and abroad expected. There are 424 companies from 26 countries exhibiting. 183 of the companies are from Turkey and 241 are from other countries.
